Core Responsibilities

  • Affords assistance to the ASM and SM in maintaining holiday, attendance, and team schedules.
  • Effectively supervises Sales Associates during shifts, addressing issues in accordance with LEGO policies and procedures, with support from the ASM and SM.
  • Completes orders for store and office supplies in compliance with guidelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Fulfills money handling procedures as directed by Sales Associates.
  • Maintains an organized stockroom and ensures all available products are merchandised on the shop floor, aiming to meet loss prevention targets.
  • Assists the ASM and SM in achieving high standards of merchandise presentation in line with store guidelines.

Part Time Team Leader

This role will provide training to enhance the team's ability to exceed our high standards of customer service, product knowledge, and sales.

Experience:

  • Enhance profitable sales by regularly reviewing sales and margin information.
  • Aid in ensuring appropriate and effective space management techniques are used.
  • Maintain the Store graphics system (including pricing) effectively, focusing on customer service and maximizing profitable sales.
  • Evaluate and communicate on competitor visual merchandising techniques, seeking opportunities to develop our business further.
  • Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines.
  • Empower and develop a high-performance team by sharing the LEGO® Brand, Vision, and Values.

Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment.

Delivery of Employee training.

Cash handling and inventory/sales auditing.

Point of sale automated systems.

Merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising.

Physical specifications: Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.

Vision abilities include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Involves lifting at least 30 lbs.

Availability to work up to 30 hours per week covering the full week and weekend with a minimum of 4 days (does not mean you’ll be scheduled for 30 hours, but 30 hours of availability must be given).

The hourly wage for the position has a range of $23.50-$24.90 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of any benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
