Team Lead, Pasting Operator

Position Overview

Pasting Team Lead is responsible for distributing all department work orders and ensuring proper procedures are followed by all employees in the area, including safety, quality, and production.

Areas of Focus

• Reviews function and output of area operations to ensure production levels are maintained, and equipment is repaired and operating correctly.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties required of advanced level employees in assigned area.
• Counsels and trains new employees.
• Ensures safety supplies and personal protective equipment are used appropriately.
• Completes required documentation for production, inventory, SPC, administration, etc.
• Completes required computer system input, analysis and reports relative to the area.
• Identifies unsatisfactory employee performance, verbally notifies employees of procedure violations or behavior problems, and informs Supervisor of performance events.
• Records employee performance events in department log.
• Communicates various company policies and procedures to employees.
• Gives verbal input regarding employee performance during employee review process.
• Involved in continuous improvement projects.
• Complies with all safety requirements and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Understands and practices the Quality Policy.
• Complies with Blood Lead Health and Hygiene Protocols.
• Understands and complies with correct lifting procedures which enable lifting to 50 lbs.
• Complies with Hazard Communication procedures.
• Must follow all Ergonomic recommendations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Good communication and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft software products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and any department specific computer programs.
• Forklift Driver Certification.
