Your Opportunity Venture Solutions, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a Team Lead Operator to work in our Arden Hills, MN location. Venture Solutions is looking for an individual to provide daily lettershop floor leadership as a Team Lead for lettershop production employees while assisting in the day-to-day operations of a lettershop floor. This location adheres to the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA). All employees must undergo a federal background check, which requires U.S. citizenship Your Shift Tuesday – Saturday5:30am – 2:00pm (1st Shift) Your Responsibilities Provide guidance and direction the production floor personnelCoordinate daily production floor activities and delegate assignments to production personnelHandle scheduling, oversee floor operations, monitor performance, verifying product quality, track metricsLead, train, and coach employees to ensure requirements are metCommunicate during meetings, updates, shift changes, issues with supervisorsWork with production employees, peers, supervisors, managersContinuously evaluate and modify the workflow for increased throughput and productivityEnsure that all goals and deadlines are metComplete all paperwork necessary to follow along with the jobLearn about equipment and basic troubleshooting/maintenanceFollow quality and training expectations as stated under ISO 9001 CertificationMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations You Must Have Previous experience as a team lead in a production environmentOperator experience with extensive knowledge about equipment to assist operators on the floor, or run a machine if necessaryIntermediate computer skills to include Microsoft Office SuiteHighly detailed oriented- quality focus drivenAbility to handle complex issues and know how to resolve them (problem solver)Basic measuring skills- able to read a ruler and other measurement devicesBasic problem-solving skillsAbility to read, write, and communicate clearly to ensure accuracy and understanding of job ticketAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and to stand for an entire shift (excluding breaks)Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedule We Would Also Prefer Must have ability to work with very close tolerancesAbility to effectively communicate with team membersHigh degree of analytical skillsGood color discernment The anticipated hourly range for this position is $23.00 - 25.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
