About the role

As a Team Lead, you will manage, train, and mentor newly-hired and existing employees while supporting daily school operations. You’ll step into leadership roles in the Director’s absence, ensure high standards of childcare, and foster a fun, interactive learning environment. Your role includes direct communication with parents and guiding fellow teachers to success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to fellow teachers while supporting directors in daily school operations.
• Assume the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.
• Create fun and interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
• Communicate directly with parents and prospective parents to achieve success for the child.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education; additional center/school requirements may apply.
• Experience coaching and training staff members.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or child development, or a CDA.
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and creating educational lesson plans.
