About the role
Our area managers are the heart and soul of Jacent. They're on the front lines in more than 17,000 stores acting as mentors to merchandisers within their assigned area; providing troubleshooting tactics, training, and ongoing support. They work closely with their Territory Managers to support new and current merchandisers, identifying opportunities to drive volume and sales.
Responsibilities
- Cultivating relationships with in-store management
- Leading the execution of merchandising resets
- Building retail displays
- Merchandising impulse items on clip strips & J-hooks
- Conducting surveys and audits
- Providing training and re-training to new and current merchandisers in assigned area
Requirements
- A self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working both independently and in a team setting, preferably as a lead or supervisor
- Comfortable in changing environments
- Able to meet the physical requirements of the role, with or without a reasonable accommodation, which include: Standing and walking 3-8hrs, Lifting to 50 lbs, Crouching, bending, twisting, and repetitive hand movements
- Possesses excellent organizational skills with ability to schedule your time efficiently
- A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with business partners
- Resides within 20 miles of Palm Coast, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna, Lake Mary, Jacksonville, St. Augustine, FL with the ability to travel throughout your territory
- MUST have management experience

Benefits
New hires within eligible requisitions will receive a $500 sign on bonus, payable in two installments after 60 days and 120 days of continuous employment.
