Team Lead - Billing

Job Duties

• Maintains accurate and timely claims submission to minimize claim submission delays.
• Ensures thorough accuracy and timely resolution of eligibility, claim, and payer edits.
• Builds and maintains a cohesive team that effectively collaborates to achieve team goals.
• Drives process and workflow improvements to enhance the team's ability to submit clean claims to payers.
• Prioritizes tasks within the Physician Billing department and delegates responsibilities to team members.
• Trains team members on the edits they are responsible for.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree
• 2 years of experience in the healthcare field
• Understanding of pre and post-adjudication of claims processing in a physician practice or equivalent operations environment

Physical Demands

• Frequent lifting/carrying of 25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting/standing
• Frequent keyboard use
• May be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting, and performing CPR
