Team Lead
About the role
The Team Lead at Rack Room Shoes assists in supervising and managing all day-to-day store operations while ensuring 100% compliance with established Company policies and procedures. They provide leadership, guidance, and training to the store staff, assuming full responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
Responsibilities
- Create, establish, and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience.
- Maintain and reinforce current service level standards.
- Provide service training and leadership to staff members.
- Manage customer issues with a sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of our customers.
- Conduct all POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Manage sales, discounts, and refunds.
- Follow loyalty program and open/closing procedures.
- Control inventory by adhering to policies and procedures related to shipping and receiving, price management, and damaged merchandise.
- Ensure proper sales floor merchandising and visual presentation.
- Manage payroll control by adhering to policies and procedures related to scheduling, payroll budget compliance, time & attendance.
- Train and develop direct reports by utilizing available training tools and reinforcing customer service standards.
- Manage loss prevention by protecting and controlling all Company assets.
