Team Lead
About the role
The Team Lead at Rack Room Shoes assists in supervising and managing all day-to-day store operations while ensuring 100% compliance with all established Company policies and procedures. They provide leadership, guidance, and training to the store staff via direction from the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. In the absence of these managers, the Team Lead assumes full responsibility for all store operations.
Responsibilities
- Create, establish, and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience.
- Maintain and reinforce current service level standards.
- Provide service training and leadership to staff members.
- Manage customer issues with a sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of our customers.
- Conduct all POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure.
- Manage sales, discounts, and refunds.
- Execute loyalty program operations, open/closing procedures, inventory control, shipping and receiving, price management, damaged merchandise handling, conducting physical inventory, sales floor merchandising, visual presentation, promotional event directions, materials, and signage.
- Control payroll, adhering to policies and procedures regarding scheduling, payroll budget compliance, time & attendance.
- Train and develop direct reports, reinforcing customer service standards.
- Work towards a comprehensive understanding of managing all day-to-day operations.

The pay range for this position is Premier Centre, 3450 Hwy 190, Ste 4, Mandeville, Louisiana US.
