Team Lead

About the role

The Team Lead at Rack Room Shoes assists in supervising and managing all day-to-day store operations while ensuring 100% compliance with established Company policies and procedures. They provide leadership, guidance, and training to the store staff, assuming full responsibility for store operations when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent.

Responsibilities

• Create, establish, and maintain an excellent customer shopping experience.
• Maintain and reinforce current service level standards.
• Provide service training and leadership to staff members.
• Manage customer issues with a sense of urgency and to the satisfaction of our customers.
• Conduct all POS terminal transactions in accordance with policy and procedure.
• Meet and exceed established sales, service, and operational objectives.
• Manage inventory control, including adherence to policies regarding shipping and receiving, price management, and damaged merchandise.
• Ensure proper sales floor merchandising and visual presentation, following company standards.
• Manage promotional events, including directing, materials, and signage.
• Control payroll, adhering to policies on scheduling, payroll budget compliance, time & attendance.
• Train and develop direct reports, reinforcing customer service standards.
• Manage loss prevention, protecting and controlling all Company assets.

Qualifications

• An approved background check.

• Managerial and organizational skills.
