Team Lead

About the role

As a Team Lead at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners while taking the next step in your teaching career. This role combines classroom instruction, family communication, team mentoring, and leadership responsibilities in a supportive, fun workplace where employees are appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care
• Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation (classroom instruction is at least 50% of weekly schedule)
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement for the child and support center success
• Manage, train, and mentor new hires and fellow Teachers, creating fun, interactive learning experiences for preschool children
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school
• Ensure the daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing all company standards

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA (preferred)

Pay

• Team Lead: $22.15–23.01/hr
• Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options
