Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Trains field employees, which may include, but not limited to technical knowledge; OSHA, and other safety, environmental, and governmental regulations and standards; and company policies and procedures.
• Affords assistance to the District Manager in ensuring compliance with safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Affords assistance to the District Manager in identifying potential issues and proactively developing resolutions.
• Completes other field-related tasks as assigned by the District Manager.
• Affords assistance with compliance items including reseller reviews, plant inspections, and customer location inspections and training.
• Provides technical expertise on the safe storage and handling of propane.
• Maintains the plant, yard, equipment, and dock so that they are clean, attractive, and safe.
• Affords assistance in maintaining vehicle files, including maintenance completion entry.
• Continues in current roll and job duties in addition to Team Lead responsibilities.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or high school equivalent.
• One year of work-related experience.
• Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and other safety, environmental, and governmental standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task in a customer-focused environment.
• Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with a strong desire to teach others.
• Ability to successfully give and receive constructive feedback.
