Responsibilities
- Aid in training and developing staff
- Afford member service oversight to ensure all staff offer great customer experience
- Be very involved in front desk-related tasks:
- Answer phone calls politely and help with questions or concerns
- Take info calls
- Handle member check-ins, sign-ups, cancellations, and update member account information
- Engage potential members and conduct gym tours
- Assist in resolving member service issues and inquiries
- Manage team member support and provide backup to Club Manager as necessary
- Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
- Create and maintain a positive club image
- Oversee gym cleanliness and appearance
- Manage marketing efforts
- Inform and train team members on current marketing promotions
- Order supplies, manage inventory, and track reports as needed
Qualifications
- Honesty and good work ethic
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time
