About the role

Responsible for leading a team of software developers in developing innovative solutions for complex business problems. Must possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable and maintainable software systems.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code refactoring and optimization efforts to improve performance and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in software development.
• Experience with at least one major programming language and a solid understanding of software engineering principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools.

Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Selenium.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
