About the role
Benchmark Human Services is recruiting for a Team Lead position in its Group Homes in Richmond, IN. The role supports and trains direct care staff, ensures quality of services, and maintains health and safety for individuals served.
Responsibilities
- Collect and disseminate forms and agency information as determined by the Manager.
- Help develop and manage Supported Living schedule.
- Ensure individuals’ homes are safe, clean, and in good condition.
- Manage individual’s financial information.
- Implement and monitor Active Treatment according to the Individual Service Plan (ISP).
- Monitor individual’s health care needs.
- Conduct and document monthly safety drills.
- Be available 24/7 except for day/weekend off.
- Attend client conferences in assigned home.
- Participate in weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- At least 2 years' experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (ID/DD) strongly preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Some supervisory experience preferred.
