The Production Fulfillment Lead will manage the daily operations of the production area within our distribution and fulfillment center. This role involves the receipt, organization, and fulfillment of production requests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production processing. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to support and train a team.
You will be trained on unit measurement, applying measurements to customers’ specifications, and inspecting shipments to deliver correct order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Review Item Velocity Reports to ensure items are effectively located to increase picker productivity, reduce replenishment, and maximize space utilization in the facility.
- Assist in the slotting of new items at the time of receiving.
- Slot items into pick slots to support outbound sales, utilizing different slot types based on product movement, physical characteristics, and pick method.
- Update warehouse pick and reserve pallet locations as needed, ensuring warehouse mapping is current.
- Run daily/weekly reports to show warehouse capacity.
- Review product placement to increase warehouse efficiency and productivity by reducing replenishment tasks and associate travel time.
- Reduce product damages stemming from incorrect product placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and health regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Requires sufficient physical ability to occasionally push and pull, frequently bend, walk, lift, carry, and reach moderate amounts of weight in a fast-paced environment.
