Team Lead

About the role
Support business planning and operations by delivering key insights from corporate data sources. Develop reports and dashboard tools to visualize data for rapid understanding and communication. Work with business units to understand data requirements and implement processes for ensuring data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) on the Microsoft Power BI platform.
- Troubleshoot and optimize reporting models and dashboards to ensure optimal performance.
- Responsible for proper change management processes to promote and deploy managed solutions in Power BI.
- Maintain the Power BI service, including creation and securing of workspaces, data connections, and gateway connectivity.
- Monitor and report Power BI service capacity and performance to ensure near 100% uptime and availability.
- Gather requirements from business users and stakeholders to develop software solutions in Power BI.
- Translate business requirements into functional technical requirements to align goals across the business.
- Lead a team of Power BI developers, providing guidance and best practices for Power BI usage within the organization.
- Work with management to develop an ideal roadmap and strategy for Power BI within the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI desktop development and service management.
- Proficiency in SQL and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) programming.
- Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
Schedule
Hybrid remote work is permitted. Employees must live within a reasonable commuting distance of their office location. Hybrid work may not be permitted for certain roles, such as FINRA-registered positions requiring full-time in-office attendance.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this role is $190,000 to $196,000. The specific salary offered will be based on individual qualifications, experience, geography, and market conditions. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.
