Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively and compassionately with students, families, and staff
- Utilize technology for email communications, calendar appointments, record keeping, etc.
- Must hold or be willing to acquire substitute teacher license
- Oral and written fluency in English, Spanish, or Polish (language skills a plus)
Terms Of Employment
- Hours Per Day: 7.0
- Start/End Times: 8:30a - 4:00p
Compensation
- Teaching Assistant - Type 1, $18.96 - $20.21 (Like experience considered)
- Participates in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) pension fund (reciprocal pension with TRS)
- Eligible for paid holidays, time off benefits, and medical/dental insurance benefits
