Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

About the role

This itinerant position provides direct and/or consultative special education services relating to hearing impairments, including deafness, which enable students to learn in a variety of educational settings. This professional provides a comprehensive and individualized education to each student based on their hearing impairment.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students ranging in age from 3 to 21 years who may have only a hearing impairment or additional disabilities
• Provide services to the school districts in Fayette, Greene, and Washington Counties

Qualifications

• PA Department of Education Hearing Impaired PK-12 Certification (applicants without this certification but interested in obtaining it are welcome to apply)
