Requirements

• NJ Certificate: Teacher of Science (required)
• Biology certification (preferred)
• Teacher of Students with Disabilities endorsement or Teacher of the Handicapped certificate (required)
• Familiarity with NJ Student Learning Standards
• Strong instructional background
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with at-risk students
• Knowledge of curriculum modifications
• Knowledge of multisensory instruction
• Knowledge of educational software applications
• Ability to perform physical work which requires frequent bending and lifting

Pay

Salary range: $64,000 – $117,380 (full salary schedule available via the Fair Lawn Education Association)
