Responsibilities

Under the direction of an assigned administrator, provide a special education classroom for severely handicapped students to instruct and demonstrate essential skills and information necessary for functioning as independently as possible.

Requirements

• Copy of valid California teaching credential authorizing service to severely handicapped students OR appropriate intern-eligible letter from college/university OR intern program status letter, clearly stating what applicant is eligible for.
• Copy of CLAD certification or English Learner Authorization
• Copy of Transcripts
• Letter of Interest (recommended)
• Resume (recommended)
• Letter of Recommendation(s) (recommended)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Special education teaching experience preferred.
• AB 2534: PREVIOUS CERTIFICATED EMPLOYMENT MUST BE LISTED BY DISTRICT, INCLUDING SUBSTITUTE TEACHING.

Pay

Salary Pay Range $58,587 - $133,038 Annually. Appropriate Placement on the Certificated Salary Schedule (Dependent Upon Education and Experience).
