About the role
The Teacher of Extensive Support Needs (2026-2027 School Year) position at Stanislaus County Office of Education provides a special education classroom for severely handicapped students to instruct and demonstrate essential skills and information necessary for functioning as independently as possible.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Copy of valid California teaching credential authorizing service to severely handicapped students OR appropriate intern-eligible letter from college/university OR intern program status letter, clearly stating what applicant is eligible for.
- Copy of CLAD certification or English Learner Authorization
- Copy of Transcripts
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Special education teaching experience preferred
- AB 2534: Previous certificated employment must be listed by district, including substitute teaching.
