About the role

Under the direction of an assigned administrator, provide a special education classroom for severely handicapped students to instruct and demonstrate essential skills and information necessary for functioning as independently as possible.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and demonstrate essential skills and information to severely handicapped students
• Support students in developing independence in daily living and academic tasks

Requirements

• Copy of valid California teaching credential authorizing service to severely handicapped students or appropriate intern-eligible letter from college/university or intern program status letter, clearly stating what applicant is eligible for
• Copy of CLAD certification or English Learner Authorization
• Copy of Transcripts
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Special education teaching experience preferred

• Salary range: $58,587 – $133,038 annually
