Teacher

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• At least 2 years prior experience working with young children in a New York State Office of Children and Family Services (NYSOCFS) licensed program
• Understands and respects children and their developmental needs and interests

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Education component/specialization preferred
• Experience working in a National Association for the Education of the Young Children (NAEYC) accredited childcare center a plus
• Demonstrates knowledge of the NAEYC Accreditation Standards, NAEYC accreditation process and Teaching Strategies Creative Curriculum preferred
• Work experience with infants and toddlers preferred
