About the role

Join a multi-disciplinary team using a strengths-based approach and the latest behavior interventions, including PBIS, to support students in a clinically focused educational environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure student safety
• Assist in establishing classroom environments conducive to maximum learning by maintaining structure and guiding students to socially appropriate behaviors
• Work with Special Education Teachers to implement skill acquisition and behavioral reduction programs individually and in small groups
• Perform ongoing data collection and record keeping as directed by the Special Education Teacher

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Special Education preferred
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavior disorders preferred

Pay

$41,600 – $47,424 annually (based upon experience)

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
