Teacher Aide - Child Care

Position Summary

Aid the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all children and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children.
• Assists in creating an environment that supports children's growth and development.
• Develops and maintains a positive relationship with all of the children and their families.
• Effectively guides children's behavior in an age-appropriate and positive manner.
• Constructively participates in staff meetings and meetings with supervisor.
• Maintains the physical, social, cognitive, emotional, and cultural needs of individual children.
• Attends 15 hours of training every year.
• Communicates appropriately with families regarding children's daily activities both verbally and in writing as needed.
• Ensures the safety of the children and promotes good health habits.

Minimum Qualifications

• One year of work experience with small children preferred.

Day Shift, Flexible Operating hours are M-F 6:30 am-6 pm
