Responsibilities
- Lead your class or section
- Facilitate check-in circle time
- Lead engaging activities that support learning and belonging, and that support the curriculum of LCCPS
- Assist students with their homework
- Record daily attendance and homework tracker
- Work collaboratively as a team
- Participate in the planning of program events
- Meet program requirements of 21st Century Learning Community Program
Requirements
- Ability to lead an after-school classroom at LCCPS
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Genuine enthusiasm and excitement about working with children
- Previous experience working in an after-school or camp setting with children grades K to 6 is preferred
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm every school day, including 2 half-days per month on Wednesdays with a start time of 11:15 am.
