About the role
To teach by implementing a flexible program and creating an environment favorable to learning and personal growth by:
- encouraging students to develop skills, attitudes, and the knowledge needed to obtain a good foundation for continuous growth and development;
- providing students with experiences which integrate the effective, cognitive, and psychomotor dimensions of learning;
- establishing effective rapport with students and their parents;
- assisting students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others.

Requirements
Current New Mexico Educator's License.
- Ability to work effectively with administrators, staff, students, and parents;
- Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements.

Pay
Nine months (185 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the District Certified Teacher Salary Schedule. The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be permanent.
