Applicants must submit both a résumé and a completed application to be considered. Both documents should include sufficient work history to assess qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Disseminate information and document scars, marks, tattoos, and emergency contacts for incarcerated individuals.
  • Photograph, fingerprint, and scan irises of incarcerated individuals.
  • Administer and score group testing.
  • Conduct fact-finding interviews of each incarcerated individual received daily.
  • Maintain filing and record-keeping of daily paperwork.

Requirements

You’d be a GOOD fit if you meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of full-time experience in customer service, clerical, secretarial, administrative support, technical program support, or criminal justice (additional qualifying experience counts toward college credit on a year-for-year basis).
  • General knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

You’d be a GREAT fit if you also have:

  • Intake, classification, or criminal justice experience.
  • Strong typing skills.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft programs.

Additional Information

  • No travel required (position may make day trips, but no overnight trips).
  • No work site visits or study material required.
  • No pre-service training academy required.
  • Classified as a hazardous duty position.
  • Outside applicants will be required to submit to pre-employment drug testing as a condition of employment.
