Responsibilities
- Oversight, development, assessment/evaluation, and conduct fiscal monitoring of professional service contracts and grants for the Water Quality Planning (WQP) Division.
- Coordinate and serve as a liaison with other agency staff (Office of Legal Services, Financial Administration Division, and other TCEQ Divisions) on the development of contracts and grants, including amendments, changes, and modifications.
- Develop and maintain contract and grant tracking spreadsheets/databases for reporting to upper management.
- Oversee the contract billing process and resolve discrepancies by defining causes and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
- Resolve audit exceptions by defining causes of errors and recommending appropriate dispositions.
- Cookordination the risk assessment process for contract monitoring and planning.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university plus two years of full-time experience in contracting or purchasing.
- OR Six years of full-time experience in contracting or purchasing.
- Note: Must obtain the Texas Contract Manager Certification (CTCM) within twelve (12) months of hire date.
Qualifications
A copy of your official college transcript or evaluation of foreign credentials in CAPPS is required if needed to meet the qualifications listed above.

Schedule
Standard business hours are M-F, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Individual and work group schedule determined by the TCEQ Water Quality Planning Division.
