Tax Winter 2028 Internship - Rochester, MN

This is a hybrid internship (Winter 2028, approx. January–April) with an expectation of in‑person collaboration averaging three days per week. You will join an engagement team of interns, associates, managers, and partners, and receive mentorship through a Performance Coach and a designated CR Friend.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of client deliverables including preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Identify potential tax issues and prepare tax adjusting entries and tax trial balances based on audited or client‑provided trial balances.
• Assist the team with daily client workflow.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• On track to complete 150 credit hours for CPA eligibility.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA in both major and overall.
• Leadership experience in student groups, activities, or team projects.
• Excellent communication skills and sharp critical thinking.
• Comfortable navigating fast‑paced environments and embracing change.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; eager to learn new technologies.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Pay

In Minnesota, the salary for a Tax Intern is $29 per hour.
