Your Team
This position supports CohnReznick’s CHAMP Industry Group, which focuses on serving clients in the Consumer, Hospitality, and Manufacturing & Distribution sectors. The group provides integrated advisory, assurance, and tax services tailored to middle-market and growth-oriented companies, addressing their operational, financial, and regulatory challenges.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, overseeing pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
- Develop a detailed engagement work plan, including budgets and schedules.
- Monitor project status against the work plan and communicate adjustments to CohnReznick management.
- Build and maintain professional client relationships, ensuring supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
- Act as the primary point-of-contact for clients, keeping them informed of engagement progress and logistics.
- Lead and mentor the CohnReznick team through effective client management, clear communication, and concise direction.
- Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.
- Minimum 8+ years of tax and accounting experience in public accounting.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and tax skills, including knowledge of IRC code and regulations.
- Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in audit-preparation software and an understanding of technology’s impact on tax and audit processes.
- Strong research skills and technical proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), audit software, ProSystems, GoSystems, and CCH Engagement (a plus).
- Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask.
Pay
In New York, the salary range for this role is $150,000 to $250,000. Salary is one component of CohnReznick’s total rewards package, which also includes a discretionary performance bonus and other benefits.
