About the role

Join a rapidly growing organization within Deloitte, specializing in corporate governance, legal entity simplification, and reviewing governance structures. This role is part of the Tax Technology Consulting, Legal Business Services team.

Responsibilities

  • Enable clients' annual governance processes with an emphasis on United States compliance
  • Support the review of governance structures, assessments of corporate documents, and management of corporate data
  • Work closely with Deloitte Partners, Staff, and Associates on Legal Entity Management projects and engagements
  • Identify, pursue, and execute on continuous service improvements through technology and process improvements
  • Structuring, running, and executing on the delivery of United States Legal Entity Management operations
  • Developing and sharing expertise and thought leadership materials in Legal Entity Management and broader legal innovation
  • Maintaining the performance of LEM engagement delivery teams
  • Advising on proposals and assisting with formation, maintenance, and dissolution of legal entities
  • Assisting with board of directors and stockholders meetings

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, legal, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant legal/legal entity management experience, corporate legal secretarial experience, or alternative legal service industry experience
  • Experience with entity management lifecycle including annual compliance and event-driven activities
  • Knowledge of and working experience with Legal Entity Management databases and other complementary systems
  • Experience maintaining legal entity records and evaluating/remediating records
  • Experience with legal technology and its application in the legal entity management space or contract lifecycle management field
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and other technology skills including Excel, PPT, Visio, Power BI, Tableau
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Aptitude and commitment to learning various IT platforms and additional software skills
