Accounting Manager

About the role

Assists Controller in preparation and review of monthly financial schedules.
Participates in acquisition analysis.
Ensures proper support and analyses is maintained for balance sheet accounts.
Reviews the monthly asset ledger.
Maintains oversight of hospital internal controls.
Serves as a liaison with external audit personnel for ongoing audit work.
Oversees the hiring, supervision and training of hospital employees as needed.
Provides management with data as necessary.
Processes additions, deletions, disposals, and transfers of assets.
Completes special projects and other duties as requested to support needs of organization.
Prepares monthly journal entry uploads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, or equivalent years of experience.
• Two years of accounting experience; healthcare experience preferred.
