We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Tax Manager to join our dynamic Accounting and Finance team. This hybrid role offers a unique blend of responsibilities that will keep you challenged and engaged.

Responsibilities

  • Participating actively in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, and S-Corp tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Leading and mentoring a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Managing a diverse book of business, demonstrating exceptional client service and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Staying updated on the latest tax regulations and legislation and implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborating with other departments to streamline processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance the overall operations of the company.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring they align with the company's financial goals.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in public accounting.
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, partnership, and S-Corp tax returns.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, with a proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in tax software and other relevant computer applications.
