Tax Manager CPA – (Partner Track) Hybrid

About the role

We are seeking an organized self-starter with over 5 years of public accounting experience to lead tax engagements and influence staff and client experiences. You will work closely with ownership and clients, offering work/life balance, flexible schedules, limited overtime, hybrid work options, and professional growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax engagements and influence staff and client experiences
• Prepare complex individual, trust, estate and business tax returns
• Manage tax research, tax planning and review processes
• Develop and cultivate professional client relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master’s degree a plus
• Enrolled Agent or 5+ years of public accounting experience (without any degree or certification)
• 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibility
• Attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, problem solving and PC skills including Microsoft Office and accounting software proficiency (Lacerte, QuickBooks Online and RIA Checkpoint software proficiency are a plus)
• Ability to juggle priorities, manage deadlines, handle confidential materials discreetly and thrive in a fast-paced, paperless, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of public accounting experience
• Recent public accounting tax experience progressing in scope and responsibility
