Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager (Partner Track)

About the role

Valet Tax Advisors is seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager who desires more than just another busy season or title with no real path forward. This role offers a clear path to partnership and firm leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review individual, business, estate, trust, and nonprofit tax engagements
• Lead proactive tax planning conversations with clients
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and high-value clients
• Identify planning opportunities and help clients make better financial decisions
• Review complex returns and support the preparation team
• Develop client relationships that go beyond annual compliance
• Mentor and support staff, helping build a strong internal team
• Work directly with firm leadership on practice growth, client service, and long-term succession
• Take on increasing leadership responsibility with a path toward partnership and ownership

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have strong public accounting tax experience, enjoy advising business owners and individuals, and be able to communicate clearly with clients and team members. They should also value flexibility but take ownership of client outcomes and be interested in partnership, succession, and long-term firm leadership.

Schedule
