About the role
The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate finance and New Markets Tax Credits.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for maximizing tax credits and other incentives for real estate projects
- Assist clients with the acquisition, development, and financing of real estate projects
- Provide legal advice and guidance on tax credit programs and compliance issues
- Work closely with clients to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Prepare and review tax credit applications and related documentation
- Advise on structuring transactions to maximize tax benefits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic plans
Requirements
- At least eight years of tax credit experience
- Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which you are applying or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible

Compensation range: $130,000 - $250,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
