Responsibilities

  • The Target Analyst Reporter prioritizes, assesses, evaluates and reports information obtained from passive and active collection, network evaluation and analysis, combined with related collateral sources when appropriate to provide synthesized product to customers.
  • The Target Analyst Reporter writes reports which may require significant editing; may require assistance in determining reportability of an activity; requires assistance in locating reportable information (i.e. can only run basic queries or may require raw information to be provided); may require assistance in determining the focus of report; is familiar with basic SIGINT reporting policies; may require familiarization with SIGINT and collateral report repositories to conduct research that would enhance reporting the ability to pull information from multiple sources and combine it into reports/products in response to requests by management and external customers;
  • Requires mentorship and/or significant guidance from Government personnel.

Requirements

  • Requires TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree, plus 2 years of relevant experience. Associate's Degree plus 4 years of relevant experience. HS diploma or GED plus 6 years of relevant experience. Degree in a liberal arts field (e.g. English, History, Communications, Languages, and Cultures, International Relations, and Political Science) is preferred, but any field is acceptable.
  • Relevant Experience must be in an area directly related to an NSA mission (e.g. collection, cyber and intelligence analysis) and/or a similar mission in the IC or DoD and include drafting/editing intelligence reports.
  • Current NSA reporting experience within the last 3 years and experience with NSA tools such as Grapevine, Chronicle, Haven, and/or UTT
  • Up to date in current style and usage policies for NSA reporting
  • Former analytic editing and releasing experience and experience with RAD

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, but any field is acceptable. Skills

Basic SIGINT reporting policies, familiarity with SIGINT and collateral report repositories, ability to pull information from multiple sources and combine it into reports/products in response to requests by management and external customers, ability to write and edit reports, knowledge of relevant software tools (Grapevine, Chronicle, Haven, UTT), and experience with RAD.

Pay

The salary Range for this position is: $80,000-120,000
