The Job
The TAP Sports Bar at MGM Resorts International is seeking a Cook with 2+ years of restaurant cooking experience to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a solid knowledge of food products and ensure high standards of sanitation.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to create enjoyable moments for our guests.
- Apply culinary techniques and prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups as required.
- Prepare and execute service based on guest needs and inquiries.
- Collaborate as a team to meet guest needs and inquiries.
The Ideal Candidate
- 1-2 years of Restaurant Cooking experience in a similar environment.
- Knowledge of knives and knife skills, standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwares.
- Able and willing to work Part-Time schedule, 24-30 hours per week including weekends and holidays.
