About the role
The Director of Parenting Programs (Talk With Your Baby Program Director) oversees the Talk With Your Baby (TWYB) program, providing strategic leadership and ensuring continued excellence and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and overall administration for the TWYB program, ensuring continued excellence and sustainable growth.
- Lead program evaluation efforts, using data and research to measure impact and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Expand and enhance TWYB's curriculum while developing engaging digital and online learning resources for parents and caregivers.
- Build and strengthen collaborative partnerships with the Center for Broader Impacts, community organizations, and the City of South Bend to broaden the program's reach.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team, including parent and teacher educators, grant-funded staff, and support personnel.
- Provide consultation and guidance to external providers and community partners implementing TWYB programming.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence in service to families.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree required with a Ph.D or Ed.D in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or Health-related fields preferred.
- 7 or more years of progressively responsible work in community-based programs, education, public health, human services, or related fields.
- Relevant professional, community, or nonprofit work supporting children, families, or caregivers in areas such as early childhood, family engagement, education, social services, public health, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in program evaluation and building community partnerships.
- Proven ability to scale and expand existing programs.
- Knowledge of effective marketing and outreach strategies that engage diverse populations.
Benefits
