About the role

This classification performs engagement, coordination, and planning work of average difficulty. An employee in this class is responsible for all aspects of talent management including talent development, organizational development, and talent retention. Employees in this classification will be expected to travel to events.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to leadership programs and events.
  • Covers venues, event materials, and catering services for academies, conferences, retreats, or other events.
  • Aids in content development and logistical planning for Leadership Academies in partnership with the Department of Human Resources and agency leadership.
  • Ensures seamless execution to support leadership growth and organizational development.
  • Aids in facilitating team retreats focused on strategic planning, team building, and relationship development in collaboration with internal partners, external vendors, and leadership teams.
  • Covers and schedules all division engagement events and maintains a centralized calendar.
  • Ensures efficient scheduling and execution to support employee engagement efforts.
  • Aids in conducting assessments of organizational culture and structures by conducting surveys, interviews, focus groups with stakeholders, and compiling results to identify areas of improvement.
  • Covers and supports all facets of talent management and organizational development processes to meet enterprise needs through research, data analysis, and interventions.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and two years of full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: HR management, organizational development, organizational training, or talent management.
  • Substitution of Experience for Education: Additional full-time experience in a field listed above may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Substitution of Education for Experience: Graduate work with an emphasis on course work in one of the above fields may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
