Responsibilities
- Responsible for full-cycle recruitment.
- Compile and maintain employee records including confidential and sensitive employee information.
- Complete background checks for all employees.
- Lead open enrollment and oversee benefit packages.
- Analyzes workforce data, staffing trends, employee relations issues, and organizational needs and develops recommendations supporting district goals and operational effectiveness.
- Guide instructional staff through the New York State certification process.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state employment laws, regulations, reporting requirements, Board policies, and administrative procedures.
- Afford assistance with the implementation of wellness programs, benefits programs, employee engagement initiatives, and analyzing HR analytics.
- Afford assistance with compliance related matters.
Qualifications
- A graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program (required), with prior experience in a charter school environment (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of Human Resources or Recruitment experience.
- A highly ethical professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential.
- Ability to multitask, works collaboratively, and maintains focus in a fast-paced environment.
Pay
Salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. Additionally, CPS offers a comprehensive benefits package.

This is a twelve month, full-time, exempt position.
