Overview About This Position: Talent Generalist responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing professional HR guidance/counsel through effective training, benefits administration, payroll management, recruitment assistance and various project based work. Will assist with resolving employee relations issues, and policy development & implementation. Ensure compliance with all state and federal labor and employment law regulations. Model an educational approach that enables line managers to improve their leadership and management skills. What You'll Do Partners with HRD to design & implement initiatives - creates company wide trainings by working with managers and the HR Director on determining appropriate training for employees.Provides managers and employees with fair advice/counsel regarding complaints/legal issues. Facilitates development of good working relationships with all employees in the agency.Partners with Associate Director, Talent on Performance Review trainingsOversees and manages onboarding and off-boarding.Responsible for maintaining Talent Tracking report.Maintains department budget.Administers Leaves of Absence.Be aware of, abide by & enforce Federal/State employment laws and Publicis, Saatchi & Saatchi and Team One policies/procedures.Improves efficiency and service delivery through recognition and recommendation of changes in policies and/or procedures.Ensures Immigration guidelines/laws and Leaves (FMLA, PFL, CFRA, etc.) are managed appropriately. Assures that discrimination or unfair practices do not occur.Have strong analytical and project management skills, acts as a model to agency and maintains a strong balance between individual and company needs.Provides direction and strategy for employee development; and encourages effective conflict resolutions through a constructive airing of differences.Oversees yearly I9 audits to make sure we are compliant with all Federal Laws.Conducts yearly HR audits to make sure we are compliant with all Federal and State Laws.Manages and is responsible for all HRIS systems, provides reports and functionality supportMaintains the quarterly dashboard for turnover and trainings.Oversees Promotion and Transfer letters What You'll Bring: Minimum 3-4 years of HR related experience or at least 1-2 years of HR generalist experience. Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws. Experience in fast-paced Advertising or Creative environment preferred. Strong knowledge of payroll, benefits knowledge, excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have solid understanding of HR/Recruitment processes & HR-related regulations. Must have familiarity with HRIS, e.g. PeopleSoft, etc. Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Certification in HR or HR education is a plus. Skills and Abilities: This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style. Working Conditions: Team One is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. All employees are expected to support Team One’s commitment to providing a respectful & safe workplace. There may be times when lifting up to 25lbs. is required. Overtime, including evenings and/ or weekend work- may be required. There may be occasion to travel. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
