Talent Development Trainer,
Overview
Responsible for supporting the talent development department in planning, coordination, and delivery of impactful training programs that builds role readiness, job-specific skills, and confidence at all levels of the organization. Partners with leaders and subject managers to create effective training, facilitate sessions, support post-training application, and continuously improve learning programs.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership and subject matter experts to design training solutions, align content with business needs and coordinate training schedules.
- Facilitate engaging training sessions and skill-building workshops in both virtual and in-person environments for learners at all levels.
- Create high-quality learning materials including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentations, videos, job aids and other resources.
- Reinforce post-training learning by supporting leaders to ensure consistent application of new skills and behaviors.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using learner feedback, observation, assessments, performance metrics, and follow-up conversations to measure impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate training documentation including attendance records, learning resources, program updates, and reporting within the LMS or other tracking systems.
- Demonstrate qualifications and competencies consistently and reliably.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Required to have Bachelor's Degree in education, business, human resources, organizational development, instructional design or related field.
- Required minimum two years of experience developing, presenting/training, and facilitating educational training programs and materials for diverse audiences in a corporate or educational setting.
- Required strong facilitation and communication skills, including presentation, verbal, and written communication.
- Required excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Required ability to build strong cross-functional relationships, evaluate development opportunities, and design or deliver training that meets the needs of different roles, functions and levels of experience.
- Required strong critical thinking, decision-making, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Required advanced proficiency using PowerPoint to create engaging training materials.
- Preferred previous experience with e-learning tools, digital learning platforms, or customer-facing systems.
- Preferred knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and effective teaching practices.
- Preferred previous supporting onboarding programs, train-the-trainer models, or field-based learning programs.
