Position Duties

Partners with other Talent Development and HR team members to improve employee performance and effectiveness through the deployment of customized and organizational interventions, solutions, and initiatives.

Facilitates required workshops and follows-up on employees’ progress by incorporating knowledge of adult learning theory.

Proactively evaluates and supports the needs of various departments.

Knows, understands, incorporates, and models PC’s Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Maintains a working knowledge of Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Phoenix Children's Code of Conduct; and other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

Performs miscellaneous job related duties as requested.

Position Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in health care, business, adult education, or related field. Preferred: Master’s degree in business, adult education, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience coaching and/or teaching adult learners. Minimum of 2 years of experience in health care. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Special Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with facilitation, adult learning styles and practices, group dynamics, and interactive learning methods. Exceptional written, oral, and positive influential interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Must be adaptable to change and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and balance competing priorities. Outgoing, results oriented, and able to work as a team. Previous experience in health care or ability to learn and understand both clinical and non-clinical terms. Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.
