Summary

As the Human Resources Coordinator (Talent & Development Site Coordinator), your primary responsibility is to support our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You provide support and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of Human Resources for all Team Members. Responsibilities include Team Member Relations, Recruitment, Health and Safety, Time and Attendance, and other administrative tasks as required. Previous experience in a human resources environment within a manufacturing plant or warehouse is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Manufacturing, Team Members, and Talent and Development, with an active presence (70%) on the plant floor to drive T&D programs, processes, and policies.
  • Oversee all agency communications and assist Site Leaders, Operations Leaders, Shift Leaders, and Team Leaders with Team Member relations.
  • Foster the FGF culture and promote Team Member Engagement.
  • Manage the engagement committee and develop detailed proposals for engagement activities.
  • Communicate FGF policies, protocols, and new initiatives to agencies.
  • Review resumes and coordinate interviews with Agencies and Operation Leaders to ensure “Key Role Candidates” (Mixers, Depositors, Oven Operators, Packaging Operators, Forklift Operators, and Sanitation) meet required skill sets, availability, and attitude.
  • Ensure adherence to the Internal Job Posting Process (IJPP).
  • Work closely with Operations Leaders and T&D to determine current and upcoming staffing needs.
  • Track and monitor all temp agency orders; provide feedback and clarification to agencies regarding candidates interviewed.
  • Gather feedback from agencies on internal requests and summarize challenges to create an ops/agency action plan for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all training required documentation for Key Roles (Mixers, Depositors, Machine Operators).
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot issues or challenges with key stakeholders.
  • Act as a Health and Safety advocate.
  • Oversee Team Member payroll issues and communicate with Payroll to ensure resolution.
  • Manage the daily payroll approval process for production Team Members and the Time and Attendance system for hourly Team Members.
  • Conduct investigations and document them in Navex.
  • Coordinate conversions of agency payroll Team Members to FGF payroll.
  • Coordinate Learning and Development initiatives with support from the L&D team.
  • Set up new Team Members in the TMC, ICIMS, and TMTM systems.
  • Conduct post-hire and exit interviews as needed.
  • Conduct effective performance review discussions with Team Members and Production Leaders.
  • Assist and participate in Progressive Disciplinary situations related to Team Members, with support from T&D Business Partners.
  • Assist and participate in Performance Evaluations related to Team Members, alongside Production Leaders.
  • Assist with T&D/Operations projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of related experience in Human Resources in a Manufacturing Environment or Warehouse.
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation.
  • Good understanding/working knowledge of HR policies/procedures and employee relations.
  • Proven competency in operating key office software and productivity tools such as the MS Office suite; working knowledge of an HRIS.
