Overview
We are looking to grow our team with a Talent Coordinator based in NYC. This role will focus on the employee experience and human resources administration – optimizing each employee touchpoint to reinforce our culture of high performance, transparency, inclusion, and results.
Responsibilities
- HR Administration
- Aid in all departmental administrative tasks and projects
- Maintain and update all systems, portals, HRIS, and third-party platforms to ensure accurate and up-to-date data and records
- Process payroll and comply with labor updates, payroll tax considerations, and regulations
- Support management with reporting, analysis, and research
- Implement and manage Open Enrollment and benefits administration
- Prepare for and support any internal and external audits, quarterly reporting, and end-of-year processing
- Talent Acquisition
- Supervise the Onboarding of new hires, coordinating schedules and providing necessary resources, training, and support
- Support talent acquisition initiatives, executing recruitment strategies, and managing candidate screening and interviews
- Collaborate with senior management on strategic recruitment planning and scaling the organization
- Ensure compliance with local HR recruiting processes and legislation
- Support Company branding initiatives, such as growing the talent network and maintaining brand-right collateral
- Talent Development
- Coordinate and track learning and development seminars, workshops, and training
- Engage, coach, mentor, and support top talent and employees to reinforce Company culture and values
- Support performance management programs and succession planning
- Plan, coordinate, and execute HR programs including counseling, personal development plans, performance reviews, and mentorship
- Employee Engagement
- Act as a first point of contact for employees, addressing questions and resolving issues
- Foster a culture where employees feel cared for, valued, and engaged, aligning with Company goals and values
- Implement and coordinate regular employee engagement initiatives to motivate the team and build relationships
- Create Company communications, guidelines, collateral, swag, etc.
- Employee & Labor Relations
- Monitor compliance and adherence to local, state, and federal labor guidelines
- Review and update company policies, procedures, and handbook to ensure comprehension and adoption
- Assist with employee issues and legal considerations
- 1-3 years HR experience in a generalist setting
- College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- High EQ and experience working with sensitive matters and data with care
- Excellent written and verbal skills with a proven track record in effective communication
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working with multiple team members, stakeholders, and leaders
- Proven track record of working in fast-paced and dynamic environments
- Proficiency in various computer programs, software, and applications, particularly different ATS and HRIS systems
- Proficiency in Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint/Canva, Publisher, and Teams
