About the Role
Along with their individual responsibilities, the Talent Acquisition Supervisor is responsible for conducting annual performance reviews and weekly 1:1s with their direct reports while overseeing the alignment and strategy for their team. This position is fully remote, however the selected candidate must reside in a state that Rogers currently operates in: WI, MN, IL, PA, TN, FL, GA, CO, CA, WA, NY, or NJ.
Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of the candidate sourcing and generation process for exempt and non-exempt candidates, including developing and implementing complex sourcing strategies.
- Provide timely and efficient full life cycle recruitment support, identifying, screening, interviewing, and acquiring top talent for key professional, technical, and highly specialized positions nationwide.
- Perform position kick-off meetings with hiring managers to identify necessary skills for open positions.
- Partner with hiring managers and sourcing specialists to develop effective recruitment plans, emphasizing diverse candidate slates.
- Review, screen, and respond to job applicants, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
- Conduct candidate interviews using competency models and behavior-based questions.
- Schedule leader interviews efficiently and provide proactive updates on recruitment progress.
- Provide talent acquisition consultation to hiring leaders on candidate selection, interview skills, competitive job offers, and labor market trends.
- Deliver competitive employment offers with high attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
- Lead and mentor direct reports, including conducting annual performance reviews and weekly 1:1s.
- Drive the overall strategy for requisition alignment and allotment for the team.
- Understand job descriptions and departments to create compelling messaging that sells the Rogers value proposition.
- Leverage relationships to stay informed about business growth, changes, and opportunities impacting talent needs.
- Identify and execute sourcing strategies using research, networking, database mining, and complex internet searches.
- Develop diverse candidate pipelines using research, networking, and technical tools.
- Document research methods and share them with the team.
- Track results and adjust sourcing strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with recruiters and leadership to create sourcing plans and develop proactive candidate pipelines.
- Find, screen, and submit qualified candidates to the recruiting team based on job descriptions.
- Assist with job marketing creation and adjustment as needed.
- Generate recruitment metric reports manually and using technologies.
- Create and maintain sourcing records.
- Promote a team atmosphere through respect, honesty, and direct communication.
- Maintain department policies and procedures, including external agency requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, State of Wisconsin).
- Participate in hospital committees, performance improvement meetings, and team projects.
- Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, preparedness, and effective communication skills.
- Influence departments within Rogers and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5 or more years of experience in talent acquisition or related field.
- Experience making cold calls, utilizing contact lists, databases, and networking events to attract talent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional internal and external customer service skills.
- Experience managing multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with MS Office, internet browsers, and HR/sourcing technologies.
- Advanced diversity sourcing experience or AIRS certification highly desired.
- Experience working directly with senior leaders.
- Experience recruiting multidisciplinary positions across various labor markets.
- Experience with recruiting technologies, including ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, AI sourcing tools, and programmatic job advertising.
- Experience developing recruitment plans in partnership with hiring leaders, sourcers, or recruiters.
- Healthcare recruiting experience highly desired but not required.
