About the role
GAI Consultants is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing candidates for requisitions, building a targeted sourcing plan, and collaborating with hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Seek out potential candidates using industry knowledge, social media sources, and mission-focused knowledge.
- Research market conditions and industry trends to assist in decision-making and marketing positions.
- Sources candidates from various sources, with a strong emphasis on LinkedIn, Indeed.com, ZoomInfo, social media, and search engines.
- Promote GAI employer brand messaging through social networking mediums to drive traffic to open roles.
- Recruit, screen, and interview candidates for open positions.
- Maintain data integrity of the candidate management database.
- Perform extensive data mining of various social media to identify candidate profiles.
- Assist with domestic travel to support events and business needs (up to 15%)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience recruiting positions for Transportation Engineering Services for State Departments of Transportation (DOT) and Local Agencies, Water/Wastewater Engineering, Land Development.
- 5-10 years’ experience in the social digital and recruitment arena.
- 5+ years’ experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other similar/related sourcing tools.
- 5 years’ experience defining and implementing research and sourcing strategies for critical positions.
Qualifications
- Intermediate Level: Leadership, Problem-solving, MS Office Suite, Organization, Critical thinking.
- Advanced Level: Communications, Negotiation, Presentation.
