The Talent Acquisition Specialist / Senior Human Resources Analyst position serves as a Dedicated Police Department Recruiter, assigned to Talent Acquisition and funded by the Police Department. The role focuses exclusively on the department's recruitment and hiring needs and acts as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, applicants, and candidates throughout the hiring process for both sworn and non-sworn recruitments in the Phoenix Police Department As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will consult with leaders on labor market conditions, recruitment strategy, and city compliance requirements to bring top talent to the city. You will serve a vital role in the success of the city by empowering hiring managers to make smart and timely hiring decisions. Key responsibilities of this position include and are not limited to: Overseeing Police Department promotional processes, including exam proctoring, assigning volunteer groups, department-facing and candidate-facing communication, and data processing/presentation within a high-visibility environment.Collaborating with hiring managers to develop job announcements, screening/interview questions, and other selection materials.Day-to-day management of recruitments in the Applicant Tracking System.Supporting and implementing proactive and creative recruitment strategies to promote quality recruitment selection processes.Educating hiring managers on current labor trends and market conditions to strengthen recruitment decisions.Supporting various promotional testing processes throughout the organization.Participating in department projects that improve and streamline recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and the overall candidate experience. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and city policies. SALARY Pay Range: $67,516.80 to $99,736.00 annually. Hiring Range: $67,516.80 to $90,459.20 annually. Preferred Qualifications The minimum qualifications listed above, plus experience in: Monitoring recruitment and selection activities to ensure compliance with policy and applicable employment law.Building partnerships and credibility with managers and other internal partners.Applicant Tracking Systems, SignupGenius, Spark Hire, or other scheduling software.Effectively utilizing analytical tools and techniques to analyze information, conclude, and present findings clearly and compellingly.
